Albertus Magnus College complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act.
It is important that faculty members provide only the accommodations recommended by the Coordinator of Academic Disability Services or the Dean of Student Services. Any concerns related to the accommodations that have been requested by the student should be discussed with the Coordinator of Academic Disability Services or the Dean of Student Services.
日本一本道a不卡免费Students are responsible for approaching instructors in a timely manner to arrange for accommodations that the student will need. Accommodations that you are likely to encounter include:
- Extended time for in-class assignments and time work, such as tests and exams. The standard for extended time is an additional 50% of the time given all students.
- A distraction-free environment for tests and exams. A separate and quiet room is suitable for this request.
- Printed material, usually books, in alternate format. You may be asked to provide a copy of your syllabus to the Coordinator of Academic Disability Services several months in advance so that the appropriate materials can be procured for the student.
Students should be evaluated on their abilities, not their disabilities. Faculty members are required to provide reasonable accommodations upon a timely request by students. It is always important to maintain appropriate confidentiality of communication when working with students with disabilities.
